Tuesday 13 October – Genomnics – Kate Orvis. Genomics is the study of our genes and DNA. It is transforming medicine, from how diseases are diagnosed to how treatments are chosen. During COVID, we became familiar with genomics without realising it. Kate explores genomics in practice, and why ensuring its benefits are shared fairly matters to us all.

We are always planning ahead, so please email us if you know of a good speaker who you think would fit with our aims: members@grangelecturesociety.org. We are keen to explore your ideas.

We are currently looking for someone to take on the role of Membership Secretary. Ability to use a simple spreadsheet would be important. This role has a flurry of activity around September and early October when membership is being taken. The rest of the year tasks are limited, structured and straight forward. Do contact us if you would be willing to help.
